About the Speaker: Jasmine Smith is a Project Manager and Producer with over 20 years of experience connecting people and building communities. She has managed marketing and production projects for top brands including Google, PepsiCo, Airbnb, and Uber, and most recently served as a Communications Strategist at The White House under the Biden-Harris Administration.

A multi-hyphenate entrepreneur, Jasmine co-founded a brick-and-mortar business and built DC Wedding Week, a thriving community of over 400 wedding professionals. Today, her company, Groundwork, partners with leading marketing agencies such as Creative Theory and Invisible North, supporting culture-centered campaigns, content production, and experiential activations.


Jasmine has shared her expertise on stages at Georgetown University, The Gathering Spot, and General Assembly. Raised around the globe as a military dependent, she holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing and a Master’s in Public Relations from Georgetown University, as well as a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. She is also a certified Product Manager and a proud single parent.
