About the Event
Many project management professionals begin their careers as coordinators or support leads, mastering execution while waiting for the opportunity to step into greater responsibility. The transition from coordinator to strategic leader, however, requires more than time in role. It requires visibility, positioning, skill expansion, and deliberate career strategy.
In Career Acceleration in Project Management: From Coordinator to Strategic Leader, Cindy Okosun will guide participants through the mindset and actions required to advance intentionally. This session will explore how to position yourself for leadership roles, navigate career pivots, and leverage certifications, mentorship, and sponsorship to unlock new opportunities.
Participants will learn how to identify skill gaps, communicate their value beyond task execution, and build a professional brand aligned with long-term career goals. The session will also address how to move from being seen as a reliable contributor to being recognized as a strategic partner.
Whether you are early in your career or ready for your next advancement, this session will provide practical guidance to help you take ownership of your growth and accelerate your trajectory in project management.
