Question: When and where is the 2026 Conference?

A: The conference takes place on Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST each day. It is held in Hanover, MD. The specific venue address will be included in your registration confirmation email.

A: The conference welcomes professionals at every career stage — from emerging practitioners to senior leaders. Industries represented include construction, corporate, government, nonprofit, technology, finance, and more. The event is open to all, regardless of race/ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other identifiers.

A: Attendees can expect two full days of workshops, keynotes, and networking sessions focused on:

Question: Is the conference open to men and non-Black attendees? 

A: Yes. While ABWIPPM's mission centers on empowering Black women in project and program management, the conference is open to all who want to learn, connect, and grow in this field.

A: Registration includes access to both full days of programming — keynotes, workshops, and networking sessions — plus catered breakfast and lunch each day. You will also have access to our exhibitor hall and on-site recruiters throughout the event.

Question: What is the registration deadline? 

A: The deadline to register is September 4, 2026. We recommend registering early, as space is limited and this event sells out. Register here.

A: The program includes opening and closing keynotes, breakout sessions and panel discussions, interactive workshops, a networking event, and a pitch competition. Sessions span topics from PMO development and AI to entrepreneurship and inclusive leadership.
