About the Event
ABWIPPM Presents:
In Project and Program Management, the greatest risks are not found in project plans, budgets, status reports, or dashboards—they emerge through the conversations we avoid, the messages we fail to communicate, and the relationships we struggle to navigate. For Black women leaders, mastering conversational leadership is essential for influencing stakeholders, driving strategic initiatives, and leading effectively in complex environments.
Join Dr. Qiana O'Leary, award-winning Organizational Leadership strategist, professor, author, and Founder & CEO of Minty Educational Services, for a thought-provoking session that explores how truth-centered communication can become one of the most powerful tools in a leader's toolkit. Dr. O'Leary will examine the science of conversation as a catalyst for organizational trust, stakeholder alignment, and project success. Participants will learn how intentional communication can transform relationships, strengthen influence across organizations, and help leaders navigate high-pressure environments without sacrificing their well-being.
This session will address the unique emotional labor Black women carry while leading teams, programs, and organizational change. Through practical insights and actionable strategies, attendees will discover how to move from task-focused communication to visionary leadership that inspires trust, drives results, and creates lasting impact.
Attendees will leave with practical tools, renewed confidence, and a roadmap for ensuring their voices carry weight in every room they enter while leading projects, programs, and organizational transformation with authenticity and purpose. Attendees will learn to reduce burnout by leading with intention while protecting professional longevity.
